Ryan led the public-private partnership effort that created and built the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center on Main Street, a business incubator that has helps fuel jobs in our region, as well as being a driver of action in Peoria’s riverfront Warehouse District projects.
Ryan is employed at OSF Healthcare System as the Vice President of Government Relations.
He has always had a passion for helping young people get on the right path in life, which led to his involvement in creating an inner city basketball league and a City Youth Commission.
Since Spain and his wife, Ashley, had their two year old daughter, Vivienne, Spain’s perspective has deepened further to focus on issues effecting our region’s future, like creating an environment for good jobs, good schools, and strong and safe neighborhoods.
